This was taken at a large shrine near Harajuku, the day after new years day. Many people were visiting the shrines and temples and some wore traditional attire.

Japan's Tokyo Tower, essentially the Eiffel Tower only that little bit taller (and painted horrible colours).

I visited the Imperial Palace over the holidays but the main grounds were shut! This view was still pretty nice though.
