New update!

Hello for April (nearly May already)!

Thanks for checking up on the log, I know it's been a while but it has been quite a busy month or so. The weather here is finally getting better although it still has a tendency to change back to its miserable old self of a few months ago as you will probably be able to tell from the new images.

Anyway I hope you enjoy them and stay in touch.

Robot and girl. This giant re-creation is from the Japanese animated movie Castle In The Sky! (Not the girl though just the robot!) 

At the entrance to the Studio Ghibli (Japan's Disney) animation museum with ultra-popluar character Totoro. 

Lake in the park covered with lilypads and cherry blossoms. 

Sakura and me! 

The Japanese cherry blossoms (Sakura) are one of the beautiful hightlights of the Japanese calender, this picture was taken in a huge park in Shinjuku during their peak! Friends and families gather under the trees to eat and drink and bask in the blossoms which can fill the air like perfumed snow. 

Alien garden? These peculiar growths were sprouting only in this particular place as far as we could see. If anyone knows what they are, feel free to let me know!

This tower is the Do Co Mo (Japanese mobile phone company) building and it towers over the park. 

This picture was taken just a few weeks ago, you can see the Do Co Mo tower and some cherry blossoms. 

A cold, cloudy day back in early March. I saw the dog chasing itself in this yard near my house and could not resist taking a snap.
